I have began editing my music video but am struggling with editing the music and video at precisely the same time. Without this synchronisation it will look extremely unprofessional but it is the toughest part of editing music videos that I didn't even think would be an issue.
EDIT: I have watched multiple YouTube videos on tips of editing music videos and after a long time, I've managed to do it.

Shooting: Skate Central, Sheffield.
We decided that shooting at Skegness, despite it's desirable features, was not the most ideal place to shoot. So, I asked them if there was a gig they was playing at soon and they invited me to Outlines Festival, in Sheffield where they was to play on a roller rink. This was ideal, a bit quirky, and perfect for my video.
I shot them from start to finish and got a lot of good footage, authentic footage of them gigging and enjoying themselves. I believe when I come to edit this their genuinity will show through.
Overall a change in location was probably a good thing. I am more than happy with the footage I gathered.

First Shooting - Tom's House
On the 23rd of January I went to the bassist's house (where they practice) and filmed them play Brochures 3 times through focussing on different band members. I also photographed them in their practice room and on a blank background for their social media profile.
I got a lot of footage and will make a full timeline of this shoot, this will allow me to iteratively edit the footage as I still need to shoot the rest of my music video.

Issues with Shooting
It has become apparent that due to band practice and other unforeseen situations I have been unable to successfully organise a shooting schedule with the band this week. As we have to account for 5 people not doing anything it is an issue.
EDIT: I have come up with the genius plan to shoot them at practice, with a live performance based video. I need them playing the song I am doing but this would be the ideal place to shoot.

Developing my Working Relationship with TRASH
I recently held a Skype Call with their lead guitarist, Evan Martin.
We discussed the music video in depth (pre-production, production and post-production).

Initial practice: CD cover
As I haven't used Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 very often and when I have I give up because I have made something stupid or got confused with some basic mechanic the software allows.
Using the influences of many other indie bands I have decided to include an illustrative aspect, a cartoonist theme simultaneously mixed with a picture of TRASH or a similar picture.
Using the influences of many other indie bands I have decided to include an illustrative aspect, a cartoonist theme simultaneously mixed with a picture of TRASH or a similar picture.
I have gone for a comic book background that I find really interesting when parallel with the black and white photo of TRASH, however, due to my inexperience with the software I was unable to create a relevant edit of the photograph and ended up creating a stupid, messy album cover.
Next time I will plan a more artistic and believable album cover as I will have more experience, despite my lack of experience I believe aspects of this worked really well, the balance of colours, the overlay of TRASH on a simple cartoon background is something that I am seriously contemplating and am planning to extend upon.
One other edit I completed was this one that I prefer.
This edit is much more professional and the fine tuning of the photo has been completed to a higher standard. I also prefer the effect that I have used and the colours it creates, furthermore, the cartoon-esque vibes are a lot stronger in this rendition. It makes them look like a superhero team.
